Position Overview



Harris is seeking a Regional Account Manager to join our gtechna sales team and interact directly with existing customers and prospects to promote sales of innovative e-citation and permit software.


gtechna develops e-citation applications to automate law enforcement & parking activity as well as civil code regulations for police and public works departments across North America. Travel is expected to be 40-50% throughout the southwestern USA mainly to visit prospective customers and attend industry events.

Primary Functions

What will be your impact?

  • Develop regional territory sales and marketing plan for both existing and new name business
  • Contact potential customers in a systematic and professional manner
  • Plan, Coordinate and roll out targeted marketing events to drive sales
  • Ensure quality representation of product and service capabilities
  • Stay involved with the customer after the sale to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrate command of our premier product line, Officer™ Suite
  • Participate in national and regional conferences and user groups.
  • Maintain good working relationships with Customer staff at all levels
  • Establish key contacts with industry leaders to maintain and grow knowledge of parking permitting and enforcement market
  • Meet all standards established for this position as outlined in the Sales Compensation Plan
  • Achieve Sales Goals set for the territory


The Regional Account Manager must be a competitive self-starter that can aggressively pursue new business (i.e. prospecting), have strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate effective time management (needs to manage several unique tasks simultaneously), develop strong relationships and be committed to make an impact in the company’s growth.


What we are looking for?

  • 5+ years of sales experience (software sales a plus but not required)
  • Hunter attitude with a competitive spirit
  • Aptitude for prospecting
  • Parking industry or experience working with cities, public works departments and police a plus
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
  • Works effectively within a collaborative and cohesive, team based environment
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Outstanding customer service and organizational skills
  • Positive, results oriented mindset
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and to consistently meet assigned deadlines
  • Self-starter with ability to work well independently and in groups

The Regional Account Manager can work remotely or from a Harris office in their designated sales region.
