Picis is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join our initiative sales team! This exciting opportunity will allow you to directly make an impact on the business, but more importantly to provide additional solutions and services to make our clients successful.

Primary Functions

  • Develop sales pipeline for new product line in a growing market
  • Perform sales activities to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives for the Picis analytics product line.
  • Researche, contact and visit prospective customers to determine their business needs.  Follow the sales process and maintain face to face contact with prospects to ensure successful closure of funnel opportunities
  • Lead all efforts to progress and manage the sales process to close opportunities including; generating leads, completing the assessment of the client to highlight key needs, defining the value of the Picis solutions for each client and coordinating product demonstrations with definition of the key product solution aligned
  • Consistently and accurately maintain a solid pipeline of sales opportunities within CRM tool
  • Remain knowledgeable of the Picis products and services to facilitate sales efforts
  • Maintain all sales records and updates within the CRM tool and provides sales reports as needed
  • Develop relationships with prospects through on and off site sales calls. 
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of industry competitors and consultants
  • Coordinate RFP responses, prepare pricing and proposals and other aspects of the sales process on a regular basis
  • Stay abreast of technical, industry and user needs
  • Participate in team projects that support goals and objectives
  • Work as a team member with other departments to secure customer expectations are met.  Facilitate meetings as needed with these departments as part of the sales process.
  • Provide accurate and realistic forecasts to closure using sales process milestones
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Prior related work experience of 3 + years of successful sales, account management, or support role
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with more than one software product line or major module.
  • Being able to identify when an existing client needs services
  • Ability to use a laptop PC, various MS software applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other various software applications used as required.
  • Professional appearance and presentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work as a team member and as a liaison with clients
  • Good time management, communications, decision making, presentation, human relations and organization skills.
  • Stays current on best practices and industry standards
