Position Overview



The primary function of the BI Coordinator is to coordinate Business Intelligence project deliverables between the projects, internal resources, sales and support. This includes resource management, schedule attainment and effective communication with project teams.

Primary Functions

  • Assists the BI Manager with tasks needed to manage all resources,  3rd party vendors, and the expectations of the client
  • Assists the Project Manager in the creation and maintenance of the Project documents, to include the Project Plan, schedule(.mpp) and financials
  • Provides feedback to Project Manager and S&S Management team to help improve the products or aid in the overall implementation process
  • Assists the Project Manager in the monitoring and follow-up on open customer support issues
  • Schedules/organizes meetings as requested
  • Fulfills any role needed during meetings (Lead, Facilitate, Record, Time Keeper)
  • Develops a close working relationship with customer’s Project Management team at each customer site to ensure that project timelines and deliverables are on track
  • Develops good working relationship with staff in Professional Services in order to assist in developing training materials, conduct or assist with customer training, provide knowledge transfer to training staff and give feedback on all training services
  • Maximizes and maintains current knowledge and awareness of Harris software applications and related technologies
