Position Overview



Picis, a division of Harris Computer, is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join our Sales Operations team!


This exciting opportunity will allow you to directly make an impact on the business, but more importantly to provide additional solutions and services to make our clients successful.


The Strategic Account Manager will work with our existing client base both in the United States and in Canada. We are looking for someone to build relationships with our existing customers, work with internal teams, and build ones career in account management and sales.

Primary Functions

Our ideal Strategic Account Manager will be responsible to:

  • Identify the needs of the customer
  • Demonstrate the Benefiter of the software
  • Sell and advise existing customers with the right solutions and services
  • Work with Clients, Operations staff, Sales & Marketing, Professional Services, and R&D to identify leads, opportunities, and to close deals.
  • Record client info and progress in the sales CRM.
  • Work with Support team and the Customer Success team to find leads and opportunities
  • Maintain a sales pipeline to ensure sales targets are consistently and sustainably met
  • Plan and execute targeted prospecting activities and events to drive leads
  • Forecast bookings realistically
  • Conduct business with exceptional standard of ethics.
  • Build relationship with peers and customers.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Prior related work experience of 3 + years of successful sales, account management, or support role
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with more than one software product line or major module.
  • Being able to identify when an existing client needs services
  • Ability to use a laptop PC, various MS software applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other various software applications used as required.
  • Professional appearance and presentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work as a team member and as a liaison with clients
