As a Project Coordinator you will work closely with the Project Managers to complete a variety of different tasks, many of which will vary on a day-to-day basis. The successful candidate will be part of the Cogsdale Project Management team, reporting to the Manager of Implementation and PMO.

Primary Functions

Utilizing formal project management methodology, the Project Coordinator will assist Project Managers with project tasks. In addition, the Project Coordinator will be responsible to assist with month end activities and reporting 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the Project Managers to provide supporting activities such as meeting organization, meeting minutes, invoicing, monthly reports, documentation review, etc
  • Assist in AR collection activities as requested
  • Track and manage project paperwork
  • Consistently manage expectations and ensure delivery of highest quality service.
  • Assist in ensuring the technical and functional consulting team members are appropriately tasked for successful execution of the established project plan.
  • Responsible for software ordering as requested by Project Managers or Senior Management.
  • Assist with reporting project forecast and financials to senior management on an ongoing basis.
  • Assist in the overall scheduling of Cogsdale consulting team members.
  • Perform project administration such as approval or routing of expenses, project timesheet review, MS Project updates and invoice processing.     

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of direct Project Coordination experience.
  • Experience with the management of risk, change, issues, time, scope, resources, budget and quality.
  • Understanding of all major activities for a business system implementation such as analysis, design, development and deployment.
  • Experience with a formal project management methodology.

Preferred Requirements

  • Business degree with a focus on Accounting or Information Technology
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Project, Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • An understanding of Microsoft Dynamics™ products and other Microsoft technologies
  • An understanding of ERP and/or CIS systems
  • Experience with the utility sector
