In this role, you will support our Cayenta division, a group growing at a rapid pace and competing for the best talent.  It is mission critical for Cayenta to develop their people in order for them to find bold new methods to enhance how their customers do business. 


As the HRBP, you will act as an employee champion and change agent, who will provide guidance and input to division Leaders on restructures, workforce and succession planning to help them achieve their mission.

Primary Functions

What will be your impact?


  • HRBP maintains a level of business literacy about Cayenta’s financial position, midrange plans, culture, and competition to be an effective strategic partner and people champion for employees.
  • Acts as an advisor, aligning business strategy with HR services and solutions. Works closely with the business to provide the HR/people perspective to business changes; evaluates and contributes the people perspective to business cases, ensuring impacts are addressed and resolved to ensure successful implementation and compliance
  • Advise Cayenta leadership and management on all People Operations projects including performance management and coaching, employee relations, engagement, organizational development, safety/wellness, etc.
  • Works with Cayenta management team and Talent Acquisition to effectively plan for staffing needs; leads and supports succession and training efforts to support this initiative. Oversees the placement process for new, promoted and/or transferred teammates
  • Oversees the professional development of Cayenta teammates to include ensuring effective on-boarding and skill development of new hires, identifying and facilitating the execution of coaching and performance plans, proactively assesses and addresses individual performance, creates consistency across projects and creates/track career progression.
  • Plays a key HR role for the leadership team and facilitates effective team building. Coach leadership on value added HR programs including leadership, conflict management, and expectation setting, communication and feedback.
  • Identifies change management issues and works with the business leaders to develop and execute change management strategies and solutions
  • Fosters overall employee engagement and monitors and drives engagement actions and insights
  • Providing advice, guidance and/or coaching on sensitive confidential and complex HR issues;
  • Works closely within the business to identify attrition risks and key positions within the organization by developing solutions and deploying action plans to address related issues and minimize skill loss within the organization.
  • Perform special projects or other duties as requested.


What are we looking for?


  • 5 plus years of recent, hands on Human Resources Generalist experience.
  • Post-Secondary degree in Human Resources.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, must be a trusted advisor with experience in building, shaping and maintaining positive relationships and partnerships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven track record on delivering results, and the ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment while effectively managing and adapting to multiple changing priorities;
  • Ability to quickly understand business processes and navigate organization and support systems to deliver results to client groups;
  • High proficiency in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).


What we would love to see?


  • Human Resources Certified (CHRP, CPHR, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP)
  • Experience/proficiency with WorkDay (HRIS)
