Position Overview



Cogsdale Corporation is seeking a Customer Solutions Architect to join their Sales team! 


The primary function of the Customer Solutions Architect is to contribute to the departmental bookings targets through the delivery of high quality, consistent and customized software demonstrations.  The single most important part of the process is how we present our products to potential customers.  Research, business process analysis, preparation, and delivery are controllable aspects of the product presentation and the responsibility of the Customer Solutions Architect


The Customer Solutions Architect must continually seek innovative ways to show how the Cogsdale ERP Solutions and product extensions add value and benefit to customers. 

Primary Functions

  • Work closely with the sales team to conduct web and onsite software product demonstrations selling the benefits of our solutions
  • Gain thorough understanding of business practices as they relate to Local Government & Utility finances.
  • Develops techniques and practices for effective presentations
  • Assist in completion of the functional sections of Requests for Information/Proposal; Confirm feasibility of bids.
  • Work with the development teams to understand new customer requirements during the sales process.
  • Recommends changes to the products or processes which would improve quality for the customer.
  • Conducts market and industry research to identify trends within the industry.
  • Produce competitive analysis material comparing products with our key competitors. 
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels within an organization
  • Participate in producing video presentations and testimonials to post on company website.
  • Work with Client Services to provide upgrade demonstrations to highlight new features available to customers.
  • Enters relevant sales information in the company’s CRM system.
  • Some direct selling and marketing/tradeshow/user conference responsibilities may be assigned.


  • Proven ability to listen, extrapolate information and demonstrate solutions to small groups or large audiences.
  • Strong problem solving skills. Must be able to analyze information to make independent decisions quickly and effectively.  Adept at developing alternative solutions.
  • Ability to effectively learn new products and services and demonstrate these articulately.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills. Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and challenging situations. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Must be proficient in the usage of computers and related applications including but not limited to MS Office, Word, Excel and Adobe PDF.
  • Responds promptly to customer needs and solicits customer feedback to improve products or service.
  • Ability to work in a team environment or independently with limited supervision.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to carry out multiple tasks within a defined timeline.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and strives to continually build upon knowledge and improve skills.
  • Displays passion and optimism; inspires respect and trust while providing vision and leadership to peers.
  • Treats others with respect and demonstrates ethics and integrity; upholds the organization’s core values.
  • Follows company policy and procedures.
  • Valid passport and driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • College degree is required.
  • Minimum two year’s work experience in sales, sales engineering, customer service, training or consulting
  • Must be comfortable with demonstrating the complete portfolio including third party features and applications of the Cogsdale product offering.
  • Travel Required: Up to 50%
