Position Overview



Cogsdale is currently seeking an Account Executive for our growing Sales organization. Account Executive will use their extensive experience and well-honed consultative selling skills to develop relationships with prospective customers.


In this role, you will leverage Cogsdale's software and service offerings to increase revenue within the assigned territory

Primary Functions

  • Develop and execute net new business and territory development
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs in order to effectively position Cogsdale solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal personnel as needed to jointly sell business solutions
  • Work closely with sales and marketing team in order to identify and develop potential new prospects and identify additional opportunities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve or exceed the company’s target growth and margin requirements
  • Achieve or exceed established bookings, revenue and margin targets within identified regions
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and service forecast data


  • Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales – especially managing personal time and productivity.
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings, and internal company functions, to aid business development.
  • Plan and manage sales territory according to an agreed market development strategy.
  • Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
  • Develop new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods in order to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
  • Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, conferences and tradeshows.
  • Respond to and follow up sales inquiries using appropriate methods.
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
  • Attend training and develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills.
