Position Overview



Harris School Solutions is seeking an Account Executive to join our Schools Financial Management Systems Sales team. The individual selected for this role will be a highly energetic self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. They will interact directly with current Sales Managers, Account Executives, existing customers and prospects to promote sales of financial solutions and services. Experience working Charter Schools and Financial Accounting Solutions is beneficial.

Primary Functions

  • Develop regional sales and territory plans
  • Lead sales efforts for the Division's Solutions and Services that are available for the assigned territory.
  • Coordinate and ensure timely production of quality RFP Responses
  • Plan, Coordinate and roll out targeted marketing events to drive sales
  • Ensure quality representation of product and service capabilities.
  • Stay involved with customers after the sale to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate command of Financial Management Systems, and other educational enterprise applications.
  • Participate in national and regional conferences and user group meetings.
  • Maintain good working relationships with all Division Staff and Customers.
  • Meet all standards established for this position as outlined in the Sales Compensation Plan.


  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, HR and or Sales and Marketing
  • Complex sales experience in software sales
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
  • Works effectively within a collaborative and cohesive, team based environment
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Outstanding customer service and organizational skills
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
  • Positive, results oriented mindset
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and to consistently meet assigned deadlines
  • Self-starter with ability to work well independently and in groups
  • Preferred: Experience with back office financial and administration system in the K12 or County Office of Education markets would be ideal.
